How does an Inspection Report work and what is included?

An Inspection Report will be provided as per Australian Standard AS 4349.1-2007

Please note that an inspection is visual no furniture, floor coverings or appliances are moved.

I inspect fences, paths, sub-floor (where reasonable access is provided), ant capping, entry & internal steps, external cladding, internal linings, ceilings, windows, kitchen, bathroom, roof covering (where reasonable is available), roof void, roof gutters/downpipes and paintwork.

A general comments section will be provided with attached photographs to assist the client.

Inspections performed with two days notice and report sent that day via email.

An invoice is attached with the report with payment details.

Does the report have validity time period?

Yes, it is valid for 30 days.

Does the Agent receive a copy?

No, unless you request it.

Can you email a copy to my Solicitor / Conveyancer?

Yes, please provide email address.

Can I use the report to negotiate my offer?

Yes you can.

Can I receive my building report by email?

Yes you can, make sure you provide your email and specify your requirements in the Application Form.

What methods of payment do you accept?
